Jonathan Gerber, RN, MBA
Has over 35 years of experience in the healthcare arena ranging from hands-on clinical to executive level operations. Mr. Gerber has provided administrative support and advice to hospitals, MSO’s, medical groups, IPA’s, health plans and individual physician practices for more than 20 years. As the CEO of several healthcare related companies he improved operational efficiency and productivity, setting best practice benchmarks while meeting client needs. Mr. Gerber received his BSN from Arizona State University and MBA from USC.
Executive Vice President, Business Development
Is a second generation equity principle of THE MEDCOR GROUP Inc. and provides the strategic leadership of the operational management team, which encompasses the oversight of all aspects of client account services, revenue cycle management, IS/IT services, and electronic health record/practice management deployment services. With more than 16 years in the industry, Jason has an in-depth working knowledge of full Revenue Cycle and is an active participant in national and regional FQHC/CHC trade associations. Jason is an Executive MBA candidate.
Jonathan S. Gerber, II CPA
Is a second-generation equity principle of THE MEDCOR GROUP Inc. Jonathan has over 13 years of public accounting experience in the areas of individual and corporate taxation, audit and review, and business management and consulting services for small to midsize privately held and publicly traded companies. He has worked with numerous troubled companies in financial reorganization, creditor workouts and insolvency, and has directed and managed numerous business processes through the reorganization process. Additionally, Jonathan has extensive experience in supply chain management support including forensic accounting, preference and insider actions, and Chapter 11 Debtor-in-Possession reorganizations. Jonathan has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of LaVerne and an accounting degree from California State Los Angeles. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the California Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Schroeder brings a strong background in strategic healthcare management experience in FQHC and Non Profit administration, directing healthcare initiatives for vulnerable populations, management, healthcare marketing, and communications. She previously ran medical group clinic operations for Hurtt Family Medical clinics in Tustin, California, leading the day to day medical group clinic and administrative operations for 4 locations. Schroeder is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Azusa Pacific University with a Masters in Social Work, Community Practice and Partnerships. She is also a candidate as a Fellow in the American Academy of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). Active in community outreach, Schroeder is involved in many local and national grassroots programs that engage in political advocacy support.
Chuck Gibson, MPA
Sr. VP Management Services
Has over 25 years of experience combined in management and advisory capacities, including six years as Senior Manager for a major international consulting firm. Mr. Gibson has been instrumental in improving revenue flow and productivity for a wide variety of organizations in both the private and public sectors. He has worked at the federal, state and local levels of government, including cities and counties throughout Southern California.
Kiesha Valentine, PHR, SHRM-CP, CMHR
Director, Human Resources
Kiesha has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources and administration management in the areas of recruiting and retention, employee development, hiring practices, legal compliance issues, policies development and administration. Kiesha has served as Executive Director of a nationally recognized non-profit organization, as well as a Marketing Consultant for a large national healthcare organization. She is a member of The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and is certified by SHRM as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
Vice President of National Sales
Michael Paul is a proven senior sales executive with over 20 years of Healthcare experience. He joins The Medcor Group Inc as Vice President of National Sales after previous assignments at NSi, Greenway Medical, McKesson, Per-Se Technologies and UBICS. Michael has sold both software and services into FQHC/CHC’s on a national basis, Hospitals, IDNs, and Physician markets. He is equally skilled at Quarterbacking large transactions with lengthy sales-cycles as he is handling a single Provider account. His most recent assignments have focused on selling Financial/RCM services and software platforms into Community Health Centers and Hospitals. This complements his Revenue Generation role perfectly. His enthusiasm and his desire to be in Sales has remained consistent from a very young age. Michael received his BA from Texas Tech University and served faithfully in the US Navy.
Director Ancillary Services
Is responsible for identifying and developing niche markets, programs and product/service lines with the goal of increasing market share. And, collaborates with senior, and department leadership on operational efficiencies. Richard also is responsible for the optimization of client outcomes by working with executives and specialty line leadership to synthesize strategy, align projects and milestones, manage inter-dependencies and identify communication priorities across the organization.
Jessica Temple, BS, RHIT, CPC
Has overall responsibility for all Revenue Cycle Management services and clients. Jessica is instrumental in the onboarding of new clients and client account management. In addition to her strong RCM background, her value add expertise is in client advocacy and staff education. Jessica has her BS from DeVry and a coveted CPC credential.
Supervisor, Billing Operations
Kathie is responsible for the monitoring of day to day billing operations across all service lines. With 13 years of industry experience, Kathie brings expertise in billing processes and strong leadership to the team, and an extensive back ground in multi-specialty Revenue Cycle Management. Working with company leadership, Kathie is instrumental in process development and staff training.
