Daniel Davis has joined The Medcor Group as Chief Operating Officer, bringing extensive healthcare operations, revenue cycle management, business development, and executive leadership experience to the organization.
In his role as COO, Davis will oversee Medcor’s day-to-day operations while helping drive the company’s continued growth within the Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) market. His responsibilities will include operational performance, RCM practice development, client satisfaction and retention, organizational growth, and ensuring Medcor continues to deliver measurable value to the community health centers it serves.
Davis returns to the FQHC sector after nearly a decade in the hearing healthcare industry, where his work focused on revenue cycle management, payer strategy, practice development, client growth, and healthcare operations. During that period, he founded and led an RCM organization dedicated specifically to audiology and hearing healthcare, which was subsequently acquired by CareCloud. Following the acquisition, he served as President of CareCloud’s Hearing Healthcare Division, leading growth and development initiatives within the specialty healthcare market.
His appointment to Medcor represents a return to an industry he knows firsthand. Earlier in his career, Davis served as Chief Operating Officer of a Federally Qualified Health Center in Southern California, giving him direct experience with the operational, financial, reimbursement, and patient-access challenges faced by community health centers.
“Returning to the FQHC community is especially meaningful to me. Having previously served as the COO of an FQHC, I understand firsthand the operational and financial pressures community health centers face every day. I’m excited to bring the additional experience I’ve gained over the past decade in RCM, growth, and healthcare operations to Medcor and to help our clients strengthen their organizations while remaining focused on the communities they serve,” said Davis.
At Medcor, Davis will combine that FQHC operating experience with the broader RCM, business development, and client-service expertise developed throughout his career to support the company’s clients, strengthen operational performance, and help expand Medcor’s presence within the FQHC community.
