The Northwest Regional Primary Care Association (NWRPCA) serves community and migrant health centers (C/MHCs) in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington (federal Region X). NWRPCA offers a range of programs and services to support and strengthen C/MHCs in the Northwest. Programs include business intelligence for Region X (BIX), community health improvement, education & training, member services, partnerships and workforce development. They work to ensure equal access, regardless of one’s financial or insurance status, to primary and preventive health care for all residents living in the region.
The Community Health Association of Mountain/Plains States (CHAMPS) is a membership association of community, migrant and homeless health centers (CHCs) in Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. CHAMPS united Region VIII health centers in an advocacy and mutual support network of these community-based providers of primary care and related services for underserved communities in the Mountain and Plains states. Programs and services include the NWRPCA/CHAMPS fall primary care conference, training events, live and archived webcasts, project ECHO learning communities and CHAMPS educational resources.
The Western Clinicians Network (WCN) is a peer-led, volunteer, professional association of medical and dental leaders of community health centers in the Western States. WCN was created to facilitate the convening and provision of training and technical assistance to the medical directors and other clinical leaders of federally funded community health centers in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, and the Pacific Islands (Region IX of the Bureau of Primary Health Care).
