Orange, Calif. – December 4, 2018 – The MEDCOR Group, Inc., a nationally recognized leader in FQHC revenue cycle management services, continues its growth with the announcement of Chelci Schroeder, MSW as Chief Administrative Officer, a new position within the organization. Schroeder previously ran medical group clinic operations for Hurtt Family Medical Clinics in Tustin, California, a multi-site FQHC and will report to Jonathan Gerber RN MBA, Founder and CEO of The MEDCOR Group.

Effective January 2, 2019, Schroeder will assume responsibility for system wide processes, compliance, audit, marketing, operations and services departments. She will be responsible for the alignment and prioritization of company strategies and ensuring operational excellence across the company.

Prior to this appointment, Schroeder was responsible for leading the day to day medical group clinic and administrative operations for 4 locations for the Hurtt Family Medical Health Centers. She brings a strong background in strategic healthcare management experience in FQHC and nonprofit administration, directing healthcare initiatives for vulnerable populations, management, healthcare marketing, and communications. Her expertise is in operational effectiveness by combining clinical behavioral health skills with the ability to lead and motivate diverse teams towards positive administrative strategies with measurable outcomes.
Schroeder is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Azusa Pacific University with a Masters in Social Work, Community Practice and Partnerships. She is also a candidate as a Fellow in the American Academy of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
Active in community outreach, Schroeder is involved in many local and national grassroots programs that engage in political advocacy support.
